USING MULTIPLE TAGS IN A SINGLE COLLAR

We fit VHF and UHF trackers with separate batteries as a failsafe mechanism on most collars. This means that VHF will remain active even if the primary tracking device fails.

REFURBISHMENTS

Africa Wildlife Tracking offers a reduced refurbishment fee on all collars provided the old AWT collars are returned. Swapping out collars for new ones can be done at the same time to avoid immobilising the animal twice and have uninterrupted breaks in data. We are constantly analysing old collars and making improvements to future generations. Getting old collars back and incorporating client feedback is a big part of our journey.
